2011 is coming to a close and we here at Pop Addicts thought it fitting to make a year end list of our favorite YouTuber’s who have kept us entertained all year long! Take a list at our top 5 YouTuber’s of 2011 below! 5. Awkward Black Girl Think of The Office with a black awkward girl as the lead cast member. Sounds hilarious, because it is! Created by a Stanford University graduate, The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl is an exaggerated version of Issa Rae’s awkward life. Check out the first episode below.
4. Kingsleyyy Kingsley is everyone’s favorite bitchy YouTuber, first jumping onto the scene with a viral entitled, “THINGS I HATE,” Kingsleyyy captured millions of YouTube users. King (his real name) still likes to complain, but he has introduced his viewers to a new side of him and quite frankly, we like it. Check out one of King’s viral videos below.
3. Glozell She’s like the goofy Aunt whose house you always want to go over. Glozell has been owning YouTube for a couple of years now with her unedited spontaneous videos of her reviewing videos and songs or just hilariously rambling. She’s on this list because she has yet to get old and I’m excited to see what she has in store for 2012. Check out one of my favorite Glozell videos below!
2. Patti Lahelle First of all, WHO IS THIS? The man or woman behind the hilarious series of Got 2B Real has not been revealed and we want to know! If you have not seen the break out show of 2011 then you need to catch up! Lahelle has created a series featuring our favorite ladies of the music industry saying the things we all say about each other. The editing is unparalleled and with season 2 beginning in a few days it goes with out saying the mystery YouTube has something up their sleeve for 2012. 1. The Skorpion Show 2011 has been the year of The Skorpion Show. Besides interviewing the world’s biggest pop star, celebrities that have seen the Skorpion Show include Beyoncé, Ciara, The Braxtons, Frankie (HOLLA), and more. How can you not love the two charismatic hosts Kevin & Makael and special guests (Cory Raw) and moments (Amber cursing out Tibby). I know that 2012 is going to be their best yet…. and if you don’t agree have several seats!
